Description Fountain Blossom takes its inspiration from the hand-painted floral motifs from well-preserved 18th-century pattern illustrations. Flowers cascade like a large bloom, breaking away from the traditional layouts of the time to form a modern, endless symbol of life. This damask-woven pattern includes birds and various flowers such as convolvulus, rose petals, violets, clover leaves, and carnations combined with stripes and à la grecque borders that frame the flower tableau.

The big elaborate textured placement pattern is brought to life by combining a sateen-based jacquard with a variety of selected woven stitches, resulting in a rich damask textile. By mercerizing the lustrous sateen jacquard, the interplay of light and shadow on the raised motifs creates a dynamic, almost shifting visual effect, making each piece a work of art.
