Monies is a danish jewellery company founded in 1973 by gerda and nikolai monies. Although both are classically trained goldsmiths, it was their interest and love for unconventional natural materials and oversized avantgarde jewellery that made them found monies. It has since grown into an internationally renowned jewellery company known for its elegant, bold and innovative jewellery.
Over the years, monies has created jewellery collections for some of the biggest fashion houses such as chanel, donna karan and christian lacroix. The unique and handcrafted jewellery is designed and created at the beautiful workshop right by the copenhagen waterfront. The two sons karl and niels monies have over the last couple of years become involved in the family business.
